Lumen Prints- Camera-less 

Each lumen print is created by placing plants from my garden onto darkroom photographic paper and exposing it to sunlight for several hours. As the plants interact with the paper, unexpected colours and delicate, shifting forms emerge. Because these original lumen prints are inherently unstable, the colours fade and fixing destroys their luminosity, the prints  available for purchase are high-quality reproductions, digitised and printed on Hahnemühle German Etching fine art paper to preserve the richness and subtlety of the originals.
